THE NAKEDEST DRESSES IN CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2023
The Cannes Film Festival is well-known for having one of the world's most opulent and shining red carpets, but it also has a reputation for having a rigorous dress code. Female visitors have in the past been turned away because they chose to wear flat shoes rather than heels. But this year, celebrities showed that they weren't concerned about making the festival's list of fashion missteps by attempting to appear on the red carpet almost naked.
In fact, the red carpet this year might have been the nastiest in the occasion's history. It demonstrated that there is no incorrect way to bare it all on the step-and-repeat, whether the dress is made of transparent silk with undergarments on full show or has more cutouts than a block of Swiss cheese.
Irina Shayk
If you've got it, flaunt it, as my mother used to say. Irina Shayk is undoubtedly exhibiting at Cannes, too. On May 22, the model showed off the Gucci matching string bikini set underneath her sheer black slip dress as she arrived at the British Vogue party. Shayk accessorized the barely there dress with strappy black sandals, silky black opera gloves, and knee-high stockings. In contrast to the outfit, Shayk's jewelry was unmistakably "more is more"; she wore a big statement collar necklace that was covered in diamonds. Over her gloved fingers, she put a couple of diamond cocktail rings, a cherry-red lip, and some sunglasses.
She had drawn attention before during the 2023 film festival. She strutted the carpet on May 21, wearing a torso-baring leather ensemble from Mowalola's fall 2023 ready-to wear-collection. Two crisscrossing leather straps made up Shayk's bra top, worn with the matching ultra-low-rise maxi skirt. Shayk juxtaposed the edgy outfit with a striking collar necklace made of glitter, no makeup, and sleek, straight hair that was worn down and away from her face.

Julia Fox
Julia Fox's unusual fashion sense influenced the French Rivera. She took the chance to showcase her avant-garde sense of style on May 21 at the Art of Elysium Paradis 25th anniversary gala at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Fox wore a glass-like abstract chest piece held around her torso by a strap across her back and a sleek halter neck for the occasion from Cameron Hancock. The dress was transparent, showing her chest underneath, and it was worn with a full white skirt with a billowing train and a dramatic poofy tier from S. Sang Studio. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings, a diamond wrap bracelet, and a diamond ring, all from Marli, New York.
Fox also made a nakedness wager on May 22. She wore a braless translucent plastic jacket with enormous bell sleeves and three fluffy white pom-pom buttons from Nicolas Jebran to the star-studded film festival after-party. The actress completed the ensemble by adding a head-scratching fuzzy white mohawk headgear that matched her jacket, matching plastic trousers, a white G-string, and ankle-breaking clear platform heels. She completed her look with a powder-white foundation, baby blue eyeshadow, and a black lip, and she further perplexed spectators by wearing her dark hair down in somewhat damp waves.

Heidi Klum
The supermodel walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in a brilliant yellow Zuhair Murad Spring 2023 Couture gown with strategically placed cutouts. Heidi is giving off real goddess vibes in this Grecian-inspired gown, aside from the fact that her underboob problem has us a little uneasy. With its embellished shoulders, super-sexy boob, belly button and waist cutout elements, insanely high leg slit, and flowing cape sleeves that Heidi fluttered and swooshed down the carpet, Zuhair Murad's creation is all about the drama.

Kate Beckinsale
Kate Beckinsale just took things to another level by showing up for the premiere of The Pot au Feu in what we can only describe as a naked turtleneck body suit by Zuhair Murad Spring 2023 Couture. With micro-mini shorts. Added glitter for good measure and an attached open train for additional sparkles. Dark nails, platform shoes, an updo, and jade earrings finished off her ensemble. In conclusion, a very spring outfit. Here, the use of color is very remarkable. It's the exact opposite color of the rug, so it stands out amid a sea of couture, but it's also light enough not to be an eyesore.

Yes, these outfits are really controversial. Some people love showing their skin even more than others, and some prefer being more conventional. But what we can doubt is that women are free to show any part of their bodies that they want to because it's their OWN bodies; And they can do what they want with it!
