True to family tradition, Kourtney Kardashian announced her pregnancy in a way that would make headlines. The 44-year-old reality actress announced her pregnancy on Friday night at her husband Travis Barker's Los Angeles Blink-182 concert by putting up a homemade sign that said, "Travis, I'm Pregnant!" She later confirmed her pregnancy as genuine on Instagram.
However! Fans of the rock band will recognize the sign as a parody of the band's 1999 "All the Small Things" video, in which a Blink-182 fan holds up a sign reading precisely the same thing. Kudos to Kourtney for that brilliant play on words. In the Instagram video, a smiling Kourtney Kardashian hops up and down while frantically waving the sign until the band notices it. As everyone applauds, a very shocked Barker leaps off the platform to embrace his wife.
It was revealed they were planning to expand their blended family— they have six kids between them; In the first full trailer for the Hulu reality show The Kardashians. Kardashian shares kids Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with ex Scott Disick, while Barker shares Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, with ex Shanna Moakler, and was also stepfather to Moakler's daughter with Oscar De la Hoya, Atiana. Openly sharing in the new season that they've been unsuccessful with IVF to conceive their first child together, stopping the treatment earlier this year.
"We are officially done with IVF. We would love a baby more than anything, but I really believe in what God has in store for us. If that's a baby, I believe it will happen," Kourtney revealed on The Kardashians in May. The Poosh founder also revealed that she'd frozen seven eggs when she and Barker got together, but most didn't survive, and none made it to an embryo. Kourtney added: "The freezing of the eggs isn't guaranteed. I think that that's a misunderstanding. People do it thinking that it's like a safety net, and it's not." She also said on the show that they would still try and conceive naturally.

After announcing her pregnancy, Kourtney shared some photos of her growing baby bump on Instagram this past Sunday. “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan,” Kardashian captioned her Instagram post. The first picture in the carousel shows Barker posing with his drumsticks and tapping on his wife’s pregnant belly as if it were a drum. The following few images show the Blink-182 rocker kissing and cradling the reality star’s growing bump.
According to an insider of People, " Kourtney is just beyond excited. She had happy tears when she told her family. They have all known for a while. Everyone is so happy for her. Kourtney can't wait to be a mom again. Her older kids are excited about the baby too. Kourtney has been praying for this. She has wanted a baby with Travis since they first started dating. They have been trying to get pregnant for almost two years. It's been grueling."
It's cumbersome all that they went through to have this baby. Congratulations, Kourtney and Travis!
