JARED LETO GIVES FURRY CHIC AT THE MET GALA

It looks like Jared Leto may have received the wrong invitation in the mail. Instead of dressing for the Met Gala, it looks like the actor thought he was headed to a furry convention instead.

Tonight's Met Gala honors the work of the late Karl Lagerfeld, highlighting the designer's iconic contributions to the fashion industry. Lagerfeld and his beloved cat, Choupette, are practically synonymous by this point, and many a celebrity has taken inspiration from the feline fashion icon.

None took the reference as literally as Leto, though.

There's only one word to describe this moment: yikes. The hyper realistic cat suit certainly makes a statement, but one that left all of us cringing. It's only slightly better than sweatpants.
